2020 Vision

A lot of people started this year with high expectations. 2020 was supposed to be year of "perfect vision" but this year has been far from perfect. We as humans have experienced major upheavals in our "normal" lives this year. Some of us have deemed this to be the worst year we have seen in our lifetime. 2020 has a cover of gloom & doom that has been an unshakeable quality as we wrap our minds around all that has happened.

While we could look at this year with pessimistic lenses, let's try a slightly different approach. 20/20 vision means that your vision is unobstructed & that there are no issues with bringing things into focus. This year has stripped away all fantasies, false notions, and illusions. We are seeing things that have been hidden away or tinted with rose-colored glasses. It is time that we utilize what is happening in our lives. This is the time to tackle things head on & see them for what they are.

Injustice is happening everywhere. Financial security has changed. Death has rattled us to our very core as we have lost people that we didn't expect. All of these things were true before 2020 but this year we are seeing things without obstruction. It is the perfect time to make changes in our lives not based on illusion but fact.

Take a look at yourself with 20/20 vision. No obstructions, no distractions. What do you see? When an honest assessment is made, do the truth & the appearance that you portray match up? If not, turn on your 20/20/ vision, because "whatever it is, it will be." The truth can never be hidden forever. It benefits to live in truth and face things for what they are instead of living in false reality. It may not be the prettiest existence but there is freedom in living in full truth.

One of the main reasons why people ignore reality is because that along with acknowledging things for what they are, there is a responsibility. Some people don't want that perceived heaviness. "Ignorance is bliss" is the motto for them to live by. There is nothing wrong with that but think about this. If the truth is going to be presented anyway, regardless of how long it is buried or covered, why not walk in it to begin with?
